On December 4, 2009 a comedy-drama film, Up in the Air, starring Vera Farmiga, George Clooney, and Anna Kendrick, is released in the United States theatres.

George Clooney stars as Ryan Bingham, a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.

Up in tha Air is directed by Jason Reitman, written by Walter Kirn (novel) and Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner (screenplay), and produced by Michael Beugg, Ted Griffin, Joe Medjuck, Tom Pollock, Jeffrey Clifford, Daniel Dubiecki, Ivan Reitman, Jason Reitman.

The movie is distributed by Paramount Pictures.
